  • A white powder that dissolves easily to thicken foods instantly.

    1. Developed for healthcare but equally useful in the home kitchen.
    2. In the Kitchen: Add to pan sauces, gravies, stews, and soups. Perfect for adjusting pureed foods to achieve a thicker consistency.
    3. For Healthcare applications: Add to liquids to help feed individuals with dysphasia or swallowing problems. Add it to beverages, nutritional supplements, milk, soups, gravies, sauces, or pureed foods for instant thickening.
    4. Dissolves easily in liquids without lumping. Works in both hot and cold applications.
    5. The thickness will vary with the quantity used. See the HOW TO PREPARE tab for recommendations.
    6. 1 Tbsp. = 1/3 fruit exchange or 4 grams carbohydrates. Gluten-Free. Plant-Based.
    7. Prepared it is freeze-thaw stable. Make as much or as little as needed. Resealable jar.

  • How to Prepare: For Liquids: May Be stirred into hot or cold liquids with a spoon or electric blender. Use the measurements listed below to obtain the desired consistency. Wait about 1 minute for food or liquids to fully thicken.

    For Foods: Add to foods that have been previously pureed. Mix briefly in a blender or food processor to achieve a mashed potato-like consistency.
