  • How to Prepare: For Sauce or Gravy - Whisk the measured Roux into the measured liquid. Use stock, pan drippings, milk, or other liquids. Bring to a simmer, stirring often. Continue simmering for 10 - 15 minutes and strain if desired.

    Use as is for a white roux. For a blonde or brown roux, saute roux over medium heat, stirring frequently, until it reaches the desired color. Whisk in liquid.
